Sara D. Murillo

Sara focuses her practice on defending physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare workers in personal injury and medical negligence claims. Prior to joining Barker, Castro & Steinback, Sara defended clients in intellectual property actions. Sara received her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, Sara was an associate editor of Chicago-Kent’s Journal of Intellectual Property.

Prior to law school, Sara conducted neuro-pharmacological and orthopedic research at Rush University, where she obtained her Master’s in Science in Biotechnology. Sara has a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience, with a minor in Chemistry from Lake Forest College.
