Maura McGinnity

Maura focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defending physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems and other members of the healthcare community. Prior to joining as an associate, Maura worked at Barker, Castro & Steinback as a law clerk.

Maura received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Society and the Environment and French Studies from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities. Maura then earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. During law school, she served as the Lead Article Editor/Symposium Director and Executive Text Editor for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law and was president of the Jaharis Health Law Institute Student Board.
