Grace Sowacke

Grace focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on defending physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems, and other healthcare professionals in medical negligence claims. Prior to being sworn in, she worked as a law clerk at Barker, Castro & Steinback.

Grace earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from Western Michigan University. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and gained practical advocacy experience by representing clients under her 711 license in a Pro Bono Litigation Clinic.
